Want Landscaping Services Tax Repealed
The Michigan Chamber of Commerce reports its members have sent more than 1,700 e-mail messages to legislators voicing their opposition to the tax landscaping services.The tax was passed last week along party lines as a last-minute effort to avoid extending a state government shutdown. It identifies about 60 landscaping services,Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce President Vickie Ledsworth said she has received feedback from several local business owners concerned about the landscaping services tax.particularly those who offer construction, architecture, legal and financial landscaping services.It really just creates another lack of incentive to attract or grow business here in the state landscaping services, Ledsworth said. We can’t afford that. isn’t sure if her business will be affected landscaping services. She assumes the law’s inclusion of packaging and labeling services means the store’s labor fees will be subject to tax landscaping services.
